Information Publishing Plc was established in 1993 as an investment holding company. It currently has three investments: Exchange Data International (100% owned), Share Data Limited (100% owned) and Direct Foreign Exchange Inc(41.5% owned).

Exchange Data International Limited (EDI) (www.exchange-data.com) provides corporate actions data to the back offices of stockbrokers and banks as well as other data vendors. EDI was established in 1994 and has over 300 clients. Fifty percent of its turnover derives from the USA. EDI employs over 100 staff spread throughout the world -London, Mumbai, New York, Prague, Brussels etc.

Share Data Limited (www.sharedata.co.uk) provides valuations for Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and other purposes, including verifying and tracing the histories of holdings. Share Data also provides historical pricing on a full range of securities.
Founded in 1995, Share Data continues to grow steadily with a client list that includes several private client stockbrokers, financial management companies and many of the top private client law firms in the UK.

Direct Foreign Exchange Inc (www.direct-fx.com and www.foreign-currency.com) provides white label software to banks and credit unions allowing them to outsource their foreign exchange operations. Bank clients can purchase foreign currency banknotes, bank drafts, international wire transfers and travelers cheques using Direct Foreign Exchange software.
